Anastasia Self-Made Palette Review | BrittanyXo

Hello beauties,

Happy November :) hope you have all had a beautiful start to the month.

Most of my experience with Anastasia products has to do with brows. I've been a fan of her tinted brow gel for years now. I'm happy to announce that since trying these shadows I don't know if I can skip out on any of her future palettes. These shadows are pigmented, blendable, smooth, and true to color. This palette retails for $35 at Ulta and Sephora. There are 14 eyeshadows and one double ended brush.

I'm generally not a fan of the double ended brushes that come with a lot of palettes however, I did find this one to work really well and the shape of both brushes have great function for this palette. The bristles are not that soft but they do get the job done.

The packaging of this palette is great from the outside but does feel a little cheap on the inside. It by no means feels like it's going to fall apart of anything, it just doesn't feel on par with the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. Saying that this palette does only have a $35 price tag and this packaging is not a deal breaker for me! There is a large mirror and the palette lid does fold all the way back.

Oh my these shades take my breathe away a little bit! There is a gorgeous mix of finishes; metallic, matte, shimmery, and satin. The variety of shades is also wonderful. I love the mix of neutrals and bright pops of color.

Every shade is wonderful! If I had one complaint it would the shade Blush. This shade for me is just too muted and doesn't really look great on my skin tone. Other than Blush every single shade packs an amazing punch, is extremely blendable, and stay try to color.

Hope you can see in these swatches how amazing these eyeshadows really are. I'm such a fan of this palette and highly recommend it. This would be a great gift as well as the perfect gift for yourself ;)

Thanks for reading!
