June BoxyCharm 2015

I hope you are having a lovely start to your week! I'm starting off this week with my monthly BoxyCharm unboxing. I was lucky enough to receive this months box a little early thanks to The Beauty Crop's collaboration with BoxyCharm. I'm so excited to share my thoughts on this months products and more importantly on this Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream from The Beauty Crop because spoiler alert... I LOVE it!
In the photos below you can see this highlighting cream in action. I have it on under my foundation for a light from within look. When I remember, I love to add a liquid highlight to the high points of my face before I apply foundation. I feel this gives a gorgeous radiance to the skin that makes the face look healthy and glowing. The formula of this Beauty Crop highlight is great. It's not glittery at all, it has a beautiful formula and the texture blends on the skin perfectly. I'm also wearing this highlighter above my foundation and blush in the photos below. I've added it to the tops of my cheek bones, down the center of my nose, on my cupid's bow, and on the center of my forehead. It doesn't make the skin look oily at all it just adds a gorgeous natural glow that wearing well throughout the day.
On to the face mask: Eslor Chlorophyll Lifting Mask. In the photos below you can see a before, during, after, and after makeup with this mask. This mask looks and feels a little like aloe vera oil. It is clear once it is smoothed over the skin with a tint of green. I did kind my skin looked luminous after using this mask. While on the skin this mask is tight and doe feel like it's doing great things for the skin.

To be honest I am not a fan of this shade. I'm sure it will look beautiful on someone with much darker skin tone but for pale girls like me this color just looks to muddy. NCLA is a brand of nail polish we have received in BoxyCharm before and I haven't really been a fan of any shade.
We did receive a bellapierre kabuki brush in this months box. As a makeup collector and blogger I don't need one more kabuki brush in my collection. This one however, is extremely soft and feels great on the skin. It also washed really well with no shedding.
Lastly is a single Cargo eyeshadow. This color with be great if you were subscribed to BoxyCharm to start to build up your makeup collection. I do find I have a ton of eyeshadows of this shade. It is a shade you want in your collection! Perfect for smoking out the outer corner or creating a smokey eye look.
I'd say I'm most excited about the The Beauty Crop Lighting Crew and the Eslor Chlorophyll Lifting Mask. I'm not a fan of the nail polish shade on my skin tone, the kabuki brush while nice probably will not get used often. Lastly the Cargo eyeshadow is a standard shade for any makeup collection.
