Wearable Whimsical Summer Tutorial

Hello beauties,

I hope your weekend was wonderful! We had a nice relaxing one. It's been extremely rainy and gloomy here in Chicago, which in turn means a great desire for napping and little motivation!

However, this look is inspired by the sunshine and warmth that summer sometimes brings. Yes, this is another tutorial using ColourPop products. I have been over-the-moon happy with everything I've ordered and have been using many of their products every time I do my makeup.

For the face I started with the Covergirl Outlast Primer and applied this all over to prep and prime for foundation. Then went in the with Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl on the high points of my face like my cheek bones, middle of my nose, and center of my forehead. The foundation I went with for this look is the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation. This is not my favorite foundation of all time but it is a nice one that gives the skin a little dewy look and lasts a really long time on the skin. For concealer I used Physicians Formula Conceal RX and Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer- Brightener. Can't forget about the brows. I used my favorite duo which is It Cosmetics YBBB and Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel. I then went in to do a little contouring with the ColourPop bronzer in Carry-On. I placed this in the hollows of the cheeks, down the sides of the nose, along the top of the forehead and down the neck. For blush I used ColourPop Holiday and Birthday Suit. Lastly for the face, I went atop the cheeks bones and down the nose with ColourPop Hightlight in Smoke N' Whistles

Moving on to the eyes. All of the eyeshadows I used for this look are from ColourPop. I first used the e/s in Glow from the Where The Light is quad. I like this shade because it covers up my discoloration and veins on my lids. To carve out the crease I went in with Cornelious, a mid-toned matte brown shade. I used Blaze on the very outer corner, Cricket a little further in, Kathleenlights on the center of the lid, Birthday Girl on the inner portion of the lid, and Acorn on the tear duct. I then used Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink to create a winged line on my upper lid. I went over top that with ColourPop's eyeshadow in Snap Dragon. I love this look because it's colorful and unique but extremely wearable! For mascara I went with Butter London Iconoclast Mega Volume Mascara which adds great length and volume! I also decided to add a little bit of Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes Liner in Turquoise 7L to the water line to add some color there!

Now for the pièce de résistance, the lips! This lip combo is AMAZING! First I line the lips with ColourPop lip liner in Fern and then go over top with ColourPop Lippie Stick in Frida. These two paired together create one of my favorite lip colors of all time! It's wearable and a little neutral with just a tiny pop of color. I sometimes put a dab of ColourPop highlighter in Smoke N' Whistles in the center of my lips but you for sure do not have to in order for this lip color to be incredible! If you purchase anything from ColourPop it should for sure be these two lip products!

I hope you guys enjoy this look :)
