Is this my favorite face palette ever? No! The bronzing shades are extremely strange to me. One of them matches the gold in the eyeshadow palette exactly. Yes, it's a BEAUTIFUL eyeshadow shade but shouldn't be in a face palette. However, the blush colors are wearable, easy to blend, and great quality. The highlight shades are soft but appear on the skin with a nice gorgeous intensity.
I'm a pretty big fan of this eyeshadow palette. You're going to get a lot of shimmer and high shine with these shadows. They are pigmented even without a primer and apply to the eye beautifully. There is not a matte shade in sight with these palettes so you are going to have to bring in other shadows to blend things out. My favorite shade is that gold. Can we take a moment to appreciate that gold? I've compared it to my favorite gold, ColourPop Kathleen Lights, and this gold is more pigmented even without MAC Fix +. While you don't need a mixing medium with these shades, it doesn't hurt. My least favorite shade is the black. I just find it underwhelming, and a little patchy. As a whole I really do love this eyeshadow palette and find myself reaching for it when I want high shine, pigmented, colorful shades.
Shades top left to bottom left: Swerve (golden copper), Riff (champagne rose gold), Burn (burgundy bronze), Wavy (dark emerald), Mood (midnight black with multi-sparkle), Trip (deep iridescent blue)
Swatches right to left: Swerve (golden copper), Riff (champagne rose gold), Burn (burgundy bronze), Wavy (dark emerald), Mood (midnight black with multi-sparkle), Trip (deep iridescent blue) ColourPop Kathleen Lights in the very top right.
There are some aspects of this set I really love and some parts I really just don't understand. It really depends on what you're looking to have in your collection. This palette is bold, colorful, high shine, and easy to use. It's also a little pricey and repetitive.
