September Favorites 2015 | BeautyWithBrittanyXo

Hello beauties,

It's my favorite time of the month, monthly favorites. This blog post is one of five that I pre-write before I left for my trips. When this post goes live I'll actually be flying back home from California and I would have already meet some of you at IMATS Toronto. I'm already anticipating I'm going to have had the time of my life, so thank you for that.

I have a few makeup, hair, and fashion favorites at well as some random goodies this month. As we usually do let's start with the makeup.

Beauty-

First off for makeup I've been loving the Too Faced Star Dust Palette. I have a video review and blog post on the full set. The palette has been a part of my everyday makeup routine since I picked it up about a month ago. The formula of the shadows are wonderful and I love the shade range.

Second is the Butter London Shadow Clutch Palette in Natural Charm and the duo in Fancy Flurry. I also have a video review and blog post on this palette. These shadows are truly a great formula. They are blendable, pigmented, and last really well on the lid.

If you've seen my recent videos of tutorials you will know that I've been a little obsessed with the Dior Fluid Shadow in 825. This shadow is an incredibly gorgeous shade and I love the formula. It has a liquid finish on the lid and layers best when the product is still wet, once is sets it doesn't layer well but it does stay in place all day. Many of you were asking if these are similar to the Josie Maran Coconut Eyeshadows. I like the Dior Fluid Shadows more. The formula is easier to work with and the applicator is better. The applicator on my Josie Maran Coconut Eyeshadow broke and I did end up returning it to Sephora.

There are two Makeup Revolution products I've been finding myself gravitating to and that is the Makeup Revolution Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer in Didn't I Tell You and the Makeup Revolution Highlighter Peach Lights. The gloss reminds me of the NYX Butter Glosses in its formula. It's creamy, not sticky, and feels hydrating on the lips. The highlighter is pigmented and have a gorgeous finish. These products are extremely inexpensive and are amazing quality.

Hair-

When it comes to hair this month I've been loving the Redken Frizz Dismiss Shampoo and Conditioner. These have made my hair smell amazing, feel extremely soft, and have really helped with frizz control. My hair is in a great place right now and switching to more salon products such has these has really helped.

Fashion-

It might seem super strange to talk about but I wanted to mention a pair of underwear this month. Me Undies have an amazing range of colors and styles. They have styles for both men and women. The one I've been loving are the Cheeky Brief style. They are soft, comfortable, and fit really well. It's a weird topic but we all wear underwear and want to be comfortable so there a go.

Second is my Mint Vans from DSW. Mint to me is like black or white. I wear mint with everything but I do admit I'm a little obsessed with the color. These Vans are more comfortable than both of the pairs of Converse that I have. I've been wearing these constantly and they are coming with me on my trips.

Entertainment-

I mentioned Rachel Platten's Fight Song a few months ago and this month I've been loving her song Stand By You. She has an amazing voice and I could listen to her music all day! I find her music really inspires and empowers me, hope you find the same.

I mentioned the Podcast Serial in last months favorites and this month I've been obsessed with Undisclosed and The Serial Dynasty. These podcasts discuss the case of State v. Adnan Syed. Undisclosed is done by three lawyers and The Serial Dynasty is done by a firefighter/podcaster and is extremely audience based. They are both extremely interesting and a good followup after Serial. These podcasts are based on real life events and people. If you are interested in true-crime or law I'm sure these would interest you.

Two shows I've been enjoying this month are The Last Man on Earth and Masters of Sex. The Last Man on Earth is a Fox show based in 2022 and follows one man through is journey of living life after a cataclysm strikes Earth. Masters of Sex is based on the true story of Dr. Masters and Virginia Johnson as they pioneer of the science of human sexuality. This is a Showtime show based in the 1950's.

Magical Moments-

I'd like to give all of you the biggest THANK YOU and I send virtual hugs all your way. We reached 20,000 beauties on my beauty channel this month and I could not be more thrilled. You are all incredible. I'm extremely humbled and grateful to have all of you in my life. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Thank you for your support!

Although when I'm writing this I will not have attended IMATS I already know I'm going to have the time of my life so I'm adding it to my monthly favorites at a magical moment. I'm hoping to have a post up soon of photos of my trip and hopefully some photos featuring some of you. If you would like to see my travels and weekly vlogs head on over to my vlog channel! :)

I hope you all had a beautiful month. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. All of you inspire me to create and explore.
